Why is it so hard to have a spine? A while ago I thought aloud that I have strong spines, but multiple ones. Multiple confidences. When I fall under scrutiny sometimes, I see so many sides of an issue that a lot of work is involved in just figuring out how I feel about it.
External world again. My classes are fun; Psychology basics at 9am with Alexa and Stephanie. The first day our instructor told us to get an iclicker which is some radio transmitting device so we can electronically register our attendance... but it costs T H I R T Y D O L L A R S? I felt like someone with basic electronics knowledge should be able to build one.
At 10:30 my critical thinking class begins. I love the apparent prospects, it's a small class with a quiet, murmuring teacher and hip hop music posters all over the walls. This is another class the professor promises will be introspective.
At 12 my speech class gets in gear... My teacher wears a lot of makeup, and it alarms me every time I see her.
I heard Royksopp on the radio today when I was listening to NPR and making pizza dough. I've heard Architecture in Helsinki on NPR also, and I wondered how these bands got NPR exposure? My assumption is that a younger radio employee made a case for appealing to a younger audience with more savvy music choices. Welp.

I have been accompanying Joe everywhere, drawing while he plays with Algo and Logo and plays D&D.
Winter break's about to end, and time is passing more quickly, as evidenced by the five minute long days. I make nice food every night and drink a mocha daily.
Last Monday I started babysitting Mia, this little mocha colored three year old who plays guitar. Every young child I encounter loves music, except Iris (a daisy colored girl from the UU church preschool group) who just... is afraid of everything.

Joe drew this hyperlink to Algo & the Rhythms, listen to that myspace page.
Next weekend is SOMA mushroom camp with my grandma Takae!
Next week is also when SRJC begins, and my schedule is even more academic this time.

I've had a lot of apocalypse themed dreams lately... |

to do: -call Mia's mother -return bakery application, speak with manager Carol -finish cleaning bedroom -find those missing records -visit Mia at 5 pm.
On Christmas I got a lot of toiletries. I have been spending every night over at Joe's house, and as a result my room got bad messy, like a dark closet no one ever occupies. This evening after Margaret went home to pack, Joe came on over and we clean cleany cleaned hoo-ray.
These mushrooms are the ones we collected with Carolin. They are the California variety of Matsutake (it has the aroma of cinnamon. Our specimen's just a little baby.) The purple capped one we thought was a Shrimp Russula, which tastes like seafood, but decided it was too purple. There are sharp toothed Hedgehog Mushrooms amongst that pile of yellow winter Chanterelles.
ok bye.
